Jessi Kirby, Golden
^ this amazing lady used to be a librarian at my middle school.
I remember shelving away books in the eighth grade as a TA; I also remember the day she told us she was leaving next year to become a full-time author.
2 years later, as a sophomore in high school, she made a presentation to my English class about the bookwriting process. She was publicizing her first novel, Moonglass, and giving us previews to her next two books, one of which was Golden.
And it’s just so awesome to know that anyone can change the course of their life to do what they love. For her, success came hand-in-hand with passion. she’s a great lady and maybe I should ACTUALLY find time to read this book because it sounds intriguing!
anyway. it’s spectacular where a dream can take you. :)
